Account Deletion Policy

There is no Lunelle account. Deleting your data is simple, and it is all done on your phone.

1Who this applies to

Everyone who uses Lunelle. There are no accounts, so there is no account to close. Everything Lunelle keeps is on your phone, and deleting it there deletes it completely.

2How to delete your data

Go to Me, then What Lunelle knows about me, then Delete everything. You are asked to confirm twice, so it cannot happen by accident, and offered the chance to make a backup first. Deleting the Lunelle app from your phone also removes everything it kept.

3What happens when you delete everything

When you confirm: - Your dates, logs, reports, photos, medicines, notes and conversations are removed from your phone. - Documents you made for your doctor and backup files still inside Lunelle's own space on your phone are removed. - Reminders you set are cancelled. - Your record of accepted legal documents is removed, so you will be asked to accept them again. - Lunelle starts again from the beginning. If this phone was turned away because the date of birth given was under 18, that note stays, so deleting is not a way around it.

4Data you cannot recover

Once deleted, your data cannot be brought back by anyone, including us, because we never had a copy. If you made a backup file and kept it elsewhere, you can restore from it with your passphrase. A backup file you moved somewhere else is not deleted by Lunelle; remove it yourself if you want it gone.

5Starting again

You can start using Lunelle again at any time. It will begin fresh, with nothing from before unless you restore a backup file.

6If you cannot reach the app

If your phone is lost or broken, we cannot delete anything for you, because we hold nothing. Your phone maker's own tools, such as erasing a lost phone, are the way to remove what is on it.
