Terms of Service

1Welcome

Lunelle is a companion that helps you organize and understand your maternal journey. By using Lunelle, you agree to these terms. Please read them gently; they are meant to be clear, not confusing.

2What Lunelle is

Lunelle offers information, organization and educational explanations to support you. Lunelle is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical care.

3What Lunelle is not

Lunelle does not replace your doctor, midwife or healthcare team. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions. In an emergency, contact your healthcare provider or local emergency services immediately.

4Your information

You stay in control of your information. You can review, change or remove it at any time. We use it only to support you. Please see the Privacy Policy for details.

5Using Lunelle kindly

Please use Lunelle only for its intended, lawful purpose, and do not rely on it as a substitute for professional advice.

6Accounts (optional)

You can use Lunelle without creating an account. Your data stays on your device by default. If you choose to create an account, it enables encrypted cloud backup and multi-device restore. Creating an account does not change what Lunelle does — it adds protection for your data. You may delete your account at any time; see the Account Deletion Policy for details.

[ADVOCATE REVIEW: Account terms must specify the cloud provider's jurisdiction, data processing agreement requirements, and applicable consumer protection provisions per target market.]

7Cloud backup

If you create an account, your data is encrypted before it leaves your device and stored securely. You can restore it on a new device by signing in to your account. Lunelle cannot read your encrypted backup. If you delete your account, your cloud backup is permanently removed.

[ADVOCATE REVIEW: Encryption approach and key custody must be specified. Verify whether "zero-knowledge" claim is legally supportable given the implementation.]

8Changes

We may update these terms as Lunelle grows. When something meaningful changes, we will show you what changed, ask you to read the updated terms, and require your acceptance before you continue using Lunelle. You will always know what changed and when.

9Limitation of liability

Lunelle is provided as-is. We do our best to be accurate and helpful, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free. Lunelle is not liable for decisions made based on the information it provides. Your healthcare provider's guidance always takes precedence.

[ADVOCATE REVIEW: Limitation of liability clause requires jurisdiction-specific language. Consumer protection laws in some markets may restrict the scope of liability exclusion for health-related applications.]

10Governing law

[ADVOCATE REVIEW: Governing law and dispute resolution provisions to be drafted by counsel based on the company's incorporation jurisdiction and target markets.]
